Seyyed Hassan Khomeini made remarks during a ceremony which was held to mark the beginning of the new Persian year, Nowruz, at Imam Khomeini shrine.
The reputed scholar clarified that “today there is no idol greater than the evil Zionist regime and no more hateful entity than this cancerous tumor and these idols that have been fully backed by the Western world.”
The reputed scholar cited biggest idols-breakers in history, Ibrahim and Mohammad (‘a), the holy prophet of Islam and his truthful successor Imam Ali (‘a) referred to the story of the destruction of idols.
“In the history, one day, the Commander of the Faithful (‘a) went to the Grand Mosque with the Prophet of Islam, stepped on the shoulders of the honorable prophet, went to the roof of the Kaaba and broke the idols.”
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that by following footsteps of the great prophet and his truthful successor Imam Ali (‘a), all of our problems which is grapping the society could be sorted out and resolved.
“God willing, the Abrahamic idol-breaking personality of the Commander of the Faithful will help at the beginning of this year and resolve the problems, “he stressed,
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini further emphasized that there is a devil inside each of us from whom we must seek refuge in God the Almighty.
“A human being's personality is a mixture of good and evil; both devil and angel are present in him.”
