The Purpose of this conference was, in fact reviewing the invaluable legacy of Imam Khomeini’s ideas, taking his short and long speeches into consideration and elaborating on his views about Religious Government so that various interpretations of his mental fundamentals and political views could be reviewed and evaluated, and his precious thought with its objective results would manifest themselves on religious contemplation of the clerical institutions. The pivotal subjects of this meeting include: philosophical bases of dialectic, principal bases and juridical rule, political philosophy, guardianship of the jurist, Islamic government and effects of Imam Khomeini’s thought on religious attitude and the clergy.Titles and names are as follows:

  • Ninth volume—References and Bibliology in the Political Thought of Imam Khomeini

“The Bibliology of Political Thought of the Imam” is the title of the ninth book out of the collection of works concerning the conference of Imam Khomeini and his Islamic Governmental Thought. This Book has been Compiled in two parts 1) Imam Khomeini’s governmental works and 2) an analysis and investigation of the Imam’s views. The first is what he has written himself or mooted down by his students in his classes. This part is in two Chapters the first of which includes 6 topics arranged in alphabetical order and the second includes a collection of the Imam’s religious decrees or short speeches

                        The second part of the book deals with introducing other scholars’ ideas regarding the imam’s governmental though, which again comes in two chapters giving Arabic, Persian and European references. At the end of the book, there are three lists of subjects, proper names and titles for more information of the readers.

  • Abstracts of Articles for the First Conference of Imam Khomeini and the Thought of Islamic Government

 

The present book comprises the collection of article abstracts pertaining to the Conference of Imam Khomeini and his thought regarding an Islamic Government, which has been arranged and compiled by the Scientific Committee of the conference on eight topics: dialectic bases, political philosophy, guardianship of the jurist (background and reasons), guardianship of the jurist (conditions and duties), guardianship of the jurist (with essential rights), political institutions and civil principles, governmental orders and expediency, status and dignity of the clergy. The list of more than 300 article titles has been given together with the names of their writes in alphabetical order in the above eight topics, which can be a good guide for the scholars and researchers interested in Imam Khomeini’s ideas.

 

  • Publication of the Governmental Thought Specific of this Conference in 8 Editions

Since the recognition of the Imam’s Governmental Thought enjoyed a specific importance and status, this conference was specially organized to answer and meet the needs of people. It was able, within a year to regulate various scientific activities including the publication of 8 editions of Governmental Thought.

This news publication was published in 8 editions from Tir 1376 to Esfand 1378 with the directorship of Hujjat-al-Islam, Dr. Kazem Qazizadeh and with Mr. Mohammad Bavi in the position of chief editor on the following main themes: an editorial, visiting sources of authority, dialogues, articles, the Imam’s speeches, reflections and echoes, panels, news and conference reports, introducing books and Imam Khomeini’s Year in the mirror of the press.
