Seyyed Hassan Khomeini denounces Zionist regime’s renewed aggression on Gaza

In a message released following the Israel’s renewed aggression against on the besieged Palestinian territory, the grandson of the late founder of Imam Khomeini said that Muslims have no choice but to strengthen their unity and empowerment

“What is happening should lead to appropriate measures by Islamic and Arab politicians and governments,” Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said.

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini’s message was issued following the resumption of the Zionist regime's attacks on Gaza, military aggression against Yemen, and Trump's threats against Iran.

More than 410 Palestinians were killed in Gaza after Israel resumed its strikes on the blockaded territory and ended a ceasefire deal with Hamas.

The full text of Seyyed Hassan Khomeini’s message comes as following:

In the name of God, the Most Beneficient, the Most Merciful

The loud voice of Imam Khomeini who called on Muslims to unite against arrogance and cooperate to cut off the hand of the illegitimate and criminal Zionist regime still resonates in the ears of the free people of the world

The martyrdom and injury of hundreds of oppressed and resistant people of Gaza in the new aggression by the occupying regime occurred in violation of the ceasefire. The renewed aggression has left a scene of clear and ultra-cruelty, which, according to the official announcement of the US government, was carried out with the support and coordination of Washington, the great devil.

The majority of victims of the Israeli brutality are women and children in Gaza, along with the US and British aggression against Yemen and the unconventional behavior of the US president indicates their ever-prevailing dominance and discourse of power-seeking.

The arrogant powers exercise illegal oppression and domination and abandoning the slogans of defending human rights and human dignity.

In such a dangerous equation, Muslims have no choice but to consolidate their unity and empowerment. What is happening in the oppressed Gaza in these days before the eyes of time should cause reflection and appropriate planning by politicians and Islamic and Arab governments.

The loud voice of Imam Khomeini, who at the beginning of the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution called on Muslims to unite against arrogance and to cooperate to cut off the hand of the illegitimate and criminal Zionist regime.

Imam’s this message still resonates in the ears of the free people of the world, and the legitimate resistance of Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, etc.

It is the concrete crystallization of the implementation of those lines drawn by the great Imam.

However, the realization of the ideals of this path certainly requires the increasing awakening of Muslims and free people of the world and the comprehensive mobilization of Islamic governments

This unity could become more possible than in the past with the unprecedented Israeli crimes of the last 18 months in Gaza.

While sympathizing with the people of Gaza and Palestine, I wish for an end to the oppression and occupation of the Zionist regime and for the collective efforts of the wise and free people of the world in this direction.

I hope that this year's Quds Day, the voice of this demand for justice should be heard in the world of justice defenders and indifferent governments.

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini
