The Islamic revolution of Iran was really a moral one and the West was not able to understand the message of that revolution well. The main goal of Imam Khomeini's movement was to establish an ideal Islamic rule. The so called Islamic rulers of some of the Islamic countries spoke of Islam but their life, their sayings and their doings do not match each other. Here generally Imam Khomeini was an exception. He had a firm faith regarding what he was saying and in practice he was putting that into practice.  He ideal Islamic society of Imam Khomeini was one that leaned on Islamic justice.
