All the universities and the theological schools and their other centers should give utmost priority to programs on self-purification and ethics so that people like Martyr Mutahharī can be successfully handed out by them to society. (Sahifeh-ye-Imam, Vol.14, page 147)
Today is the anniversary of the martyrdom of Martyr Mutahharī who, notwithstanding the brevity of his life, has left everlasting works which came from the rays of an awakened conscience and a soul full of love for Islam. (Sahifeh-ye-Imam, Vol 14, pge 281)
With his flowing pen and powerful mind in analyzing Islamic matters and expressing philosophical truths and with his simple and soothing language, Martyr Mutahharī had dedicated himself toward educating and training the society. It is a matter of sorrow that the traitors’ hands have uprooted the fruit of this yielding tree from the institutes of learning and Islam. They deprived all from the valuable fruits of the late professor. Mutahharī was a dear son to me and a strong support to the religious and academic institutions. I have lost a very beloved son and mourn him, for he was among the personalities that were considered to be the achievement of my life. With the martyrdom of this honorable son and immortal scholar, in a blow has been dealt beloved Islam that nothing can substitute. (Sahifeh-ye-Imam, Vol 7, page 162)
Mutahharī who was peerless in purity of soul and strength of faith and power of oratory, has departed, but the malevolent people should know that with his departure, his Islamic, scholarly, and philosophical personality has not gone.
