The UN refugee agency confirmed on Friday that all the remnants of the group had left the Arab country for Albania.
Also last month, another 155 members of the terrorist group had fled Iraq for Albania.
Iraqi leaders had long urged MKO remnants to leave the Arab country.
However, a complete eviction of the terrorists had been hampered by the colonial power support for the group.
Over the past three decades, the MKO had carried out numerous terrorist attacks against Iranian government officials and civilians over the past three decades.
Thousands of people, including many top officials, have fallen victim to MKO’s acts of terror since the victory of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution
MKO, the most hated terrorist group among the Iranians, fled Iran for Iraq shortly after the Islamic Revolution and began receiving support from the then Iraqi dictator Saddam, while siding with him in his eight-year bloody war against Iran in the 1980s.
The United Nations and Iraq agreed to relocate some 3,000 MKO members from Camp Ashraf in Iraq’s Diyala province to Camp Liberty In December 2011
In September 2013, another group of the MKO terrorists was evicted by the Iraqi government and relocated to the camp to await potential relocation to third countries.
There has also been a deep-seated resentment toward the group in Iraq both for its full support for Saddam in the brutal crackdown on his opponents and its criminal past.
The terrorist group is also known for the brutal elimination of its own members over dissent.
The MKO, which has built a cult-like following, is listed as a terrorist organization by much of the international community.
It is worthy to mention that Imam Khomeini, late founder of the Islamic Republic through his historic speeches and messages strongly denounced crimes committed by MKO and its backers.
Due to Imam Khomeini’s wisdom and people’s support for the Islamic Revolution, the terrorist group failed to achieve its vicious agenda against the Islamic Republic.
