Late Sheikh Ahmad Kafi Yazdi used to appreciate Imam Khomeini’s efforts during mass religious and spiritual gatherings.

Hojjat al-Islam Kafi, a great Shia Muslim preacher, used to mention Imam Khomeini’s name with great esteem and dignity during religious ceremonies.

This happened a time when the brutal Pahlavi regime had banned naming Imam Khomeini at assemblies and gatherings.

Kafi, who passed away 38 years ago had acquired his knowledge at Iranian and Najaf religious seminaries from grand Shia scholars. Kafi departed to heavens some months before the victory of the Islamic Revolution under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini in 1979.

Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic overthrew the monarchial system with support by public masses despite opposition by colonial powers.

The Islamic Revolution put Iran back on track of progress and changed balance of power in the interest of Muslims, developing and oppressed nations.
