To promote unity and ideals of Imam Khomeiniamong Muslims, thus, it was decided to hold the annual International Islamic Unity Conference.
And, a few years later, the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought was created with the primary mission of holding this important annual gathering.
